Cross Country Qualifies for State!!!

With another outstanding performance at the 3A NIAA Regional Track Meet both Boys and Grils Cross Country Teams Qualified for the State Tournaments slated for 11/9/2019 in Reno Nevada. Christian Franklin repeated as Regional Champion as was awarded the “#1 Bib” !!!!!      

Volleyball Recognizes Missing and Murdered Indenigious Women

During last week’s game vs. Western the Lady Viking Girls Volleyball Team took time out to recognize the alarming statistic that; 4 out of 5 of our Native women are affected by violence today. The U.S Department of Justice found that American Indian women face murder rates that are more than 10 times the national average.

Senior Awards Night

Congratulations go out to our Senior Award winners from last night Xzavier Maheia being Awarded the Marine Corps Semper Fidelis recognition in Athletic Excellence, as well as Aidan White and Isabella Davis Being named The Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year.  

Spring Postseason Update!!!!

Congrats to Aidan White Qualifying for the State Swim Meet for the 4th Straight year. In Carson City he will be competing in the 100 Backstroke and the Butterfly.   Also in Track Congrats to the Boys and Girls 4X800 Relay Teams both qualifying for the state track meet. Congrats to James Harden for Qualifying


All Vikings who are interested in supporting the Valley High School Student Athletes, are cordially invited to the Valley Athletic Organization meeting. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 8th, at 6 pm in the Main Office at Valley High School. All Families are welcome.   


  FREE FOOD and GIVEAWAYS,  will be provided for C3 and Physical Night Finishers. The cost will be $30 and that will cover your registration for the 2019-2020 school year. This will also be a great opportunity for parents to get involved with our new Athletic Booster Club, the Valley Athletic Organization.

Cross Country Makes School History

The Boys and Girls Cross Country Ended there historic Postseason last Saturday at the 3A State Cross Country Meet. The Girls Team finished in 6th Place with Frida Reyes finishing 21st and Bella Davis finishing 23rd Respectively On the Boys side Christian Franklin Won the State Meet with a 16:22 finishing time. Cross Country Off to A Great Start

At the Larry Burgess Invite. The Boys Cross Country Team placed Fith Overall and the Girls place 2nd overall. Christian Franklin set a School record of 15:31 and is currently ranked #1 in 3A. Both Teams are currently ranked in the Top 5 according to

New Valley High School Athletics Policy

Valley Athletics will no longer allow Outside Food or Drinks (including water) as well as Large Backpacks, Bookbags, Duffle Bags, Gym Bags, Oversized Purses into games with paid admission. That includes Football, Volleyball, Wrestling, and Basketball. All Patrons arriving with Outside Food, Drinks, or Bags will be denied entrance.

Athletics Parent Night August 16th

Valley High School Fall Athletics Parent Night will be held on August 16th at 5pm in the Main Gymnasium. This meeting is required for any Parent who has a Student-Athlete Participating in Valley Athletics this Fall.

Sports Physicals Make-Up Date

All Parents, Athletes, and Coaches, Reminder! The make-up date for Sports Physicals will be held tomorrow 8/3/2018 from 1 pm until 5 pm in the Valley High School Wellness Center Located on the Vegas Valley of the School. Remember to stop by the Athletic Office for all of the Required Forms.

Senior Awards Night

Congrats to the Class of 2018  four out of the five Valedictorians honored were Student-Athletes. Our Salutatorian was recognized by Governor Sandavol for her State Championship in Bowling. Also, Congrats to Gabbie Morales and Anias Brewington for being named Female and Male Student- Athlete of the Year.  

Balyot Qualifies for State

Sophmore and second-year wrestler John Baloyt Place 2nd at the Sunrise Regional Tournament this weekend. Other notables were Xzavier Maheia, and Joseph Valencia who both place 4th one match away from qualifying. Baloyt will be in action this Friday, February 9th at the Orleans Arena, wrestling begins at 9 am.
